Causeway one.network User Group Webinar 2019 - 3rd December 2019
Nikki Knight, CCO and Adam Graham, CPO, hosted the Elgin User Group Webinar on Tuesday 3rd December. The purpose of the webinar was to inform and gather feedback from our customers.
To recap, topics included:
- Causeway one.network – review of the rebrand from roadworks.org and the key improvements
- Causeway one.network Roadmap – plan for the next 3, 6 and 12 months
- Traffic Management Templates – top 10 Causeway one.network hacks
- Route Manager – new solution to define and manage bus routes, key route networks and other routes
- User Support – new knowledge banks and upcoming support initiatives
- 2020 Causeway one.network User Conference
Questions were also asked throughout the webinar. You can find the answers to them here:
- How do I get access to Causeway one.network Historical Map?
The Causeway one.network Historical Map is a subscribed for service which provides information about past roadworks and traffic management interventions. Users can call up details about any roadworks that occurred on any street over the past five years, or visualise works across a region over a number of weeks or months. Please contact your account manager or support@one.network to subscribe.
- How do I find out more about how Causeway one.network can help with the transition to Street Manager?
Please contact Adam Graham at adam.graham@one.network to talk through your transition plan.
- Is it possible to identify whether key features are on the diversion on the Traffic Management documents - e.g. does the diversion affect bus routes and/or gritting routes?
This feature is not currently available with automated clash detection, it must be visually inspected by the user. This is a feature we are hoping to add in 2020.
- Is the bus route management tool being pitched to commercial bus companies so that they can add and manage their own routes?
We see this as a collaborative tool for use by both Local Authority Passenger Transport teams and commercial bus operators alike. The management of bus route diversions will be accomplished via the Bus Route Manager module dashboard. The Bus Route Manager dashboard will be provided to the LA and each Bus Operator with a means of viewing and coordinating regional bus routes and any current and planned roadworks, incidents and other temporary traffic disruptions.
- How quickly would you receive an answer for a question submitted to the knowledge base?
We are aiming to reply within two hours of receiving the enquiry.
- Has there been any progress with the issues regarding registered public viewing of unpublished works?
The bug causing unpublished works to be visible on the public platform has been solved and is no longer an issue.
- Do you have any collateral for bus route management you can share?
We are in the process of producing this, so hope to make this available in the coming weeks
