Real-Time Traffic extends the existing capabilities of roadworks.pro into the realm of real-time network management. It provides a single platform for the coordination, planning, communication and monitoring of traffic disruptions, and a unique capability to influence driver behaviour through live sat-nav updates.

• Monitor live traffic conditions
• Understand the cause of traffic jams and relate them to planned and unplanned disruptions
• Communicate live road closure information directly to sat-navs and other real-time systems
• No reliance on roadside infrastructure such as ANPR or Bluetooth

Real-Time Traffic Map

Operational monitoring tool giving up-to-the-minute information across the local and strategic road network about traffic jams, linking where possible the cause of disruption (roadworks, incident, etc.) and indicating congestion data including current traffic speed, queuing times, etc.

TM App Real-Time

Ability to update sat-nav services with live road closure information, enabling instant communication of closed or reopened roads with tens of thousands of motorists.

UTMC Integration

Ability to integrate live data sources such as VMS, CCTV and live car park availability, providing a holistic view of the road network.

Key Route Status Alerts

Ability to define key routes across the county and receive operational email alerts when journey times exceed a given threshold above normal.

Key Route Status Dashboard

Dashboard providing a simple visual indication of the current red/amber/green alert status of key routes, available to operational staff and the general public.
