What's new in Causeway one.network version e2.19.0?
Overview
Over the last six weeks, our development team has been dedicating their time to improving platform resilience and efficiency, ensuring one.network is in tip top shape for all our users, whether they’re a customer, a councillor or a member of the public.
So, this month, we have just a few small platform developments to share.
Most importantly, an update to our Content Management module.
Our Content Management module, which helps utilities and highway authorities to communicate roadworks information to the public more effectively, provides organisations with the option to enable the public to enquire about specific works or road events directly from the one.network map. When a member of the public does this, the contact selected by the organisation is notified of this via an automated email.
After speaking to some of our Content Management customers, we noticed there was a desire for these notification emails to include more essential information to help answer public enquiries more quickly and effectively.
So now, going forward, these emails will feature:
- The relevant permit references
- The location of the road event being enquired about in the subject line
We hope this allows you to process works enquiries more efficiently.
Other small developments in this update include:
- Map callouts for lane closures created in the Traffic Management module or in the Live Link app will display a widget with the exact closed lanes and defined temporary speed limit information.
- What was previously known as the ‘Queen’s Jubilee’ map layer and Traffic Management category has been renamed to ‘Royal Event’ so that it can be used to plan and highlight closures and diversions surrounding royal events in the future.
